Welcome to Juunio ("Juunio", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Juunio, governing your access to and use of our website, AI study mentor, automated study calendar tools, syllabus parsing features, and all related services.

By creating an account, uploading study documents, or otherwise accessing our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of Juunio immediately.

1. Account Registration and Eligibility

To access certain features of Juunio, you must register for an account using a valid email address or an authorized third-party authentication provider (such as Google OAuth). When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
• Promptly notify Juunio if you discover or suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use the platform. If you are under 18, you represent that you have received permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Educational Disclaimer and AI Limitations

Juunio provides an AI-powered supplementary educational assistant designed to assist with concept retention, practice exercises, and study organization. You understand and agree to the following provisions:

• Supplementary Educational Tool: Juunio is intended strictly as a supplementary learning aid. It does not replace official course instructions, assigned textbooks, professor communications, or institutional academic policies.
• No Guarantee of Academic Results: Juunio makes no representations or warranties regarding your academic performance, test scores, grades, or admission outcomes.
• AI Hallucinations and Inaccuracies: Large Language Models (LLMs) and automated parsing algorithms may occasionally produce incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information (commonly known as "hallucinations"). You are solely responsible for independently verifying all generated facts, exam dates, homework deadlines, and syllabus parameters against your official school or university portals.

3. Acceptable Use and Academic Integrity

We are committed to maintaining a safe, honest, and high-performance learning environment. When using Juunio, you agree not to:

• Use the platform to violate academic integrity policies, honor codes, or institutional cheating guidelines.
• Deploy automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to interact with or extract data from our chat interfaces, APIs, or calendar tools.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary system prompts, underlying model instructions, or algorithmic workflows.
• Bypass or attempt to circumvent rate limits, token quotas, authentication mechanisms, or tier-based restrictions.
• Upload or generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, invasive of privacy, infringing on intellectual property, or harmful.

4. User-Uploaded Content and Materials

You may upload files such as course syllabi, lecture notes, textbook excerpts, and study documents ("User Content") to generate study plans and receive tutoring assistance:

• Ownership: You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights in your User Content.
• License to Operate: By uploading User Content, you grant Juunio a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, parse, and display your materials solely for the purpose of providing and improving the services requested by you.
• User Responsibility: You represent and warrant that you possess all necessary rights and permissions to upload your User Content and that such content does not infringe upon any third-party copyright, trade secret, or privacy rights.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Juunio platform—including software code, user interface designs, logos, trademarks, mascots, branding, and text—are and will remain the exclusive property of Juunio and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our platform without our prior written consent.

6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments

Juunio may offer both free tier access and paid subscription plans granting access to enhanced features, larger file uploads, or advanced AI capabilities:

• Billing Cycle: Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis via authorized third-party payment processors.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Your access to premium features will continue until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds: Except as required by applicable law, subscription fees and charges are non-refundable.

7. Termination and Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to Juunio at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in abusive API usage, or pose a security risk to the platform. You may also delete your account at any time via your account settings. Upon termination, your right to access saved chats, study schedules, and uploaded files will immediately cease.

8. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

Juunio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Juunio, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, academic penalties, or missed deadlines, resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect updates to our services, technical infrastructure, or legal requirements. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Juunio following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
